OMNi Apparel, Inc.’s commitment to compliance of social and environmental regulations extends into our commitment to comply with CPSIA standards.


In 2008, the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) became law and applies to certain products produced after November 12, 2008. The CPSIA enhances U.S. product safety laws and covers hazardous substances and flammability requirements for children’s products. It further requires testing for flammability within general wear apparel.


The law also requires the issuance of a General Conformity Certificate (GCC) for all products manufactured after November 12, 2008 and imported into the U.S. subject to safety regulations enforced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
OMNi Apparel, Inc.’s products meet the requirements of federal and state laws in the United States, including the CPSIA. OMNi Apparel, Inc.is in the process of manufacturing our youth apparel with OMNi Apparel, Inc.’s registered CPSC Identification. Currently the product carries OMNi Apparel, Inc.’s RN #, Style # information and Production Order ID.


OMNi Apparel, Inc. provides this information relative to blank and undecorated products we sell to resellers. Those customers may have their own obligations under the CPSIA legislation, and decorators are encouraged to confirm the need for their compliance by visiting http://www.cpsc.gov/about/cpsia/cpsia.html
